Recently while checking into my blog I realized the Followers count was quickly nearing one thousand, holy smokes!! If you'd asked me two and a half years ago what I expected I can tell you I never would have imagined what an amazing journey this would be. I wanted to post an update to the Sponsor's Giveaway Event for Austin Accents since the week is nearly at a close and tomorrow is the last day to enter. I simply couldn't be happier with the response and how many of you entered ~ thank you so much for helping me help support a fellow handmade artisan! 
I had hoped to get a few postings up over this past week but experienced a few distraction along the way that kept me busy...
My son and his family drove out to surprise me for Mother's Day weekend and I have to say they actually pulled it off. I had no clue they were coming so needless to say the moment was filled with tears and hugs when they suddenly showed up in our family room. They stayed for a few days and it was so wonderful to spend time with them. They don't visit often but when they do it's just the best♥
