How Does Your Garden Grow - Giveaway

Following this week's challenge & theme on Inspiration Avenue, "How Does Your Garden Grow" I'm having a giveaway for one of my original Woven Wire Beaded Bracelets pictured here. This bracelet spotlights a lovely flower focal by Zuda Gay as well as my original woven wire technique.

Many of my followers may not be aware of it but I've been working as a jewelry artist for the past 5 years and just recently found it necessary to move away from my other business, Mana Moon Studios. I've been having loads of going-out-of-business deals and sales at my other shop. I will continue creating my bracelets under Plumrose Lane Treasures but before I can do that I need to sell off all inventory and supplies under the Mana Moon business name and so I thought this challenge would be a nice way to share one of these garden beauties with you.

So, simply leave a comment on this posting, be sure to include a way to contact you (you'll need to leave either an actual email address or link to your blog) and one lucky winner will be chosen on Sunday, June 13th.

Good luck!

Sugar Doll Award

Awards are always fun and flattering. I feel happy just knowing someone thought of my blog and so I'm delighted the say that T.J. Carson of T.J. Carson's Writing Endeavor selected me to be among her recipients for the Sugar Doll Award ~ Thank you T.J.

When receiving an award I like to pass it on to all my visitors and I usually enjoy taking the time to create a few new badges. Time is a little stretched at the moment though as I'm super busy helping out with our annual local arts festival and so new badges will have to wait until after that's behind me. I'm looking forward to the art festival next weekend and yet I'm also looking forward to getting back to making more fun themes to share with my visitors.

So I hope you enjoy a wonderful week ahead and as always...

Enjoy!

Badges or Buttons

I've always been a bit confused over whether those little images we use to promote our blogs are called badges or buttons and I'm not really sure it matters, but what I do know is it's important we all have one.

Having a... let's call it a... badge, is an important part of spreading the word and building a following for our blogs. Whether we blog for fun, for business, or both, it's an essential way to increase visitors and followers.

Trying to figure out that tricky html code can be super overwhelming though and so, I here to help.

If you need a badge for your blog, just scoot on over to my etsy. There you'll find a selection of choices such as...

Badges created from your existing blog banner...

Badges created from one of my original blog banners...

Or, if you already have a badge, I can simply create the html code for your existing image so your visitors can easily grab a copy for themselves.

No matter which you choose you'll receive the image in png format and the code along with step-by-step instructions to easily install on the sidebar of your blog.

So think about what fits your needs and let me know how I can help. Here's a direct link to the new blog badges section in my shop and as always...

Enjoy!

New Buttons

Some people may not realize it, but there are loads of fun tools to be had for graphic designers. While some tools are offered for free, most of the better tools do cost and so it's always a fun experience when I'm able to buy a new tool to play with.

Recently I picked up this cool new tool which allows me to create buttons out of just about anything. Here's an example of an image of my cat in button form...
Too funny!

And so, I've created a few buttons to share with you...

Just grab the code below the button you like and add it to the sidebar of your blog by using one of the "html/java script" gadgets under the "Add a Gadget" feature in the "Settings" section of your blog and as always...

Enjoy!

Whistle While You Work

Just wanted to pop-in to say I'm happy to be back! My new power supply is in place and all seems to be right with my computer. I'm super busy at the moment working on a website I maintain for our local arts council. It's entering their busy season and so with a pending format change and loads of additions, the MJ Art Festival website has been taking most of my attention the past few weeks.

I'm looking forward to getting back to creating some new themes for all of you as it's such an enjoyable pastime for me and I love sharing. Plus there are always so many ideas floating around in my imagination so it's nice to set one free when I can.

Thank you so much to my friends, customers and visitors for your patience while I've been away and I'll see you soon.
